Common, Not Common Ingredients
Some of you may be wondering what pomegranate molasses is. Well, basically it is healthy naturally sweet molasses, mixed with pomegranate juice. You can make your own by mixing the two with some lemon juice and boiling it down, or you can buy it here: Pomegranate Molasses
Pomegranate molasses is typically used in Mediterranean dishes but can be healthfully delicious on so many things, making it worth the purchase. You can usually find it in the oil and vinegar section of your grocery store.
Another ingredient used here that I often get questions about is the raspberry vinegar. When I was doing Dr. Joel Fuhrman’s 6 week reset plan, I used raspberry vinegar on so many salads. The reason was, it was fast to pack in a lunch and it brightened up my salad leaves with only one ingredient! Now that I know I can pair it with a few other ingredients I usually do that instead of just sprinkling it on plain. You can find it here: Raspberry Vinegar Or, you can find it in the oil and vinegar section of most grocery stores.
You can, of course, use red wine vinegar in place of the raspberry vinegar. Most people usually have that on hand and it does not change the flavor much. Vinegar offers a host of health benefits so drizzle it on anywhere you can!
