Oil Free Salads
This Maple Mustard Dressing pairs well with almost any salad. It adds just the right amount of zippy tang to liven up those leaves. Try it with my Apple Squash Salad for a healthy, nutritious meal. It is so easy to make as you just wisk the ingredients together. Make a double or a triple batch and use it all week long on any salad.
Maple Mustard Dressing
This is my favorite oil free dressing and its tanginess pairs perfectly with the sweet fruit in this harvest filled salad. I like to add a tiny bit of horseradish to give it just a bit if zip without being spicy. You can omit this if you wish as the dressing is still delicious without it. I even like to make a double or triple batch for salads later on in the week!
Ingredients
- ¼ cup dijon mustard
- 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon horseradish (optional)*
Instructions
- In a glass jar or small bowl, whisk together all ingredients until smooth. Drizzle on to your favorite salad.
Notes
*The addition of horseradish here does not really make the dressing spicy, but does add a nice layer of flavor. I highly recommend it!
